Taking Flight: A Visit to Air Cadets

We use Everest as a metaphor for mental health challenges to help frame personal struggles as a journey. Just as climbers push through adversity with resilience, preparation and the correct tools to reach the summit, we too can conquer our inner "Everest” and be a part of our own solution.

As part of our mission to inspire the next generation, we had the privilege of delivering the "What's Your Everest?" project to a local Air Cadet group in Grangemouth, Scotland.

The evening was filled with engaging discussions and activities designed to challenge the cadets to set personal goals and tackle obstacles, much like scaling their own Everest. The Air Cadets, with their passion for adventure and leadership, were the perfect audience to explore the project’s core message: resilience, ambition, and teamwork. It was an inspiring session that left the cadets motivated and ready to reach new heights, both personally and as future leaders.

Check out three of the young cadets featured who after the workshop got stuck in with trying on the kit that was worn on the side of Everest itself by our CEO Tim Bradshaw.
